Is probably similar to yours. I grew up believing steak was my spirit animal. Or fried chicken, it depended on my mood. You know how it is. So, when I found out terrible things about the meat and dairy industries, it felt like everything I knew was a lie-especially as a personal trainer cracked up on animal protein gainzzz.
I wanted to be better but when it came to veganism I was lost. I needed someone I could talk to that would teach me what I needed to know, and be there for me when I had questions. And like, not be mean. Because no one needs to be told, “Go vegan, it’s easy!” or “oh, so you like contributing to slaughter?”. No, I don’t you jerk.
Before I became vegan I literally told a vegan that I was “not vegan yet because of pancakes.” True story. So I know what you’re going through, I promise.
And now that I’m vegan, my mission is to be the person I needed for vegan curious or new vegans like you, because I really believe you were meant to be vegan. At its core, veganism probably aligns with your values and makes you more of who you already are. I know you want to be kind to animals, protect the environment, and be healthy. Oh, did I say healthy? Let’s ignore the amount of vegan donuts that I eat, alright? Cool? Cool.
